Treasures of the Island
 
Pangkor Island is a charming isle off the mainland of Lumut. One of the few remaining unspoilt island in Peninsular Malaysia just a 30 minutes ride on the large ferry, the island has several spots of cluster of villages, with fishing as the main occupation Hornbills, which inhabit the island, are regular visitors to the resort. One way to absorb the local culture is to experience first hand some of its attractions:
 

  Foo Ling Kong Temple & Little Great Wall of China
Home to numerous rock paintings, the temple features a miniature replica of one of the wonders of the world.
 

  Lin Ye Kong Temple
Expertly built on a rock outcropping in honour of the Goddess Kuan Yin (Goddess of Mercy)

  Kali Amman Temple
Largest Indian temple on Pangkor Island.
 

  Chinese Fishing Village
View the bustle of the docks filled with workers cleaning and drying the day’s catch.
 
  Pangkor Town
A small but charming one-street town with numerous coffee shops and stores hawking dried seafood produce and souvenirs.
 
  Sacred Rock
Known as Batu Bersurat, the boulder pays tribute to a child that was allegedly abducted by the locals dismay over the Dutch’s incursion of Pangkor Island.
 
  Dutch Fort ( Kota Belanda)
Built in 1670, the fort once offered protection against the localpopulation and pirates.
 
  Pasir Bogak Beach
2 kilometres of crystal clear waters with a picturesque seascape.
 
  Nipah Bay
Less crowded beach, filled with corals and flocks of hornbills.
